About these terms
Like Resume (likeresume.com) is owned and operated by LimeWorks Digital Inc., a company registered in Ontario, Canada (“LimeWorks Digital”, “we”, “us”). These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and LimeWorks Digital Inc. and apply whenever you use likeresume.com. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Who can use Like Resume
You must be at least 13 years old to use Like Resume. If you are under 18, you may use it only with permission from a parent or guardian, and a parent or guardian must make any purchase.
Your documents and content
You are responsible for the resume text, files and other material you provide. Only use content you are allowed to use, and check every document before sending it to an employer. Your resume belongs to you; you give us permission only to process it as needed to provide the feature you request.
Appropriate use
Do not use the site to impersonate another person, submit knowingly false credentials, upload unlawful or harmful material, interfere with security or availability, or use automated access in a way that burdens the service. We may limit access to stop misuse.
Prices and purchases
Building and previewing a resume is free. Watermark-free downloads are sold as a 24-hour pass: one payment gives you unlimited watermark-free PDF downloads and prints for 24 hours from the time of payment, in the browser you used to pay. After the pass ends, a new payment is needed for further watermark-free downloads. The price is shown in US dollars before you pay, plus any applicable taxes. Orders are handled by WooCommerce and card payments by Stripe. Once payment is complete, your pass starts and watermark-free downloads are unlocked.
Refunds
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
No employment promise
We provide tools for preparing documents. We are not a recruiter, and we do not guarantee interviews, job offers, admission, or that every resume will be accepted by every applicant tracking system. Make sure each document fits your own experience and the role you are applying for.
Ownership and outside links
The Like Resume name, website design, software and resume templates belong to LimeWorks Digital Inc. and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Using the service does not transfer those rights to you. Third-party websites and advertisements have their own terms and policies, which we do not control. For example, card payments are handled under Stripe’s consumer terms.
Availability and liability
We aim to keep the site available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or perfect output, so keep your own copy of important documents. The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LimeWorks Digital Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights that cannot be excluded by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rights you have where you live.
Changes to these terms of service
We may update these terms when the service changes. The date above shows when they were last updated. If you keep using Like Resume after a change, the updated terms apply.
