Who we are

Like Resume (likeresume.com) is owned and operated by LimeWorks Digital Inc., a company registered in Ontario, Canada (“LimeWorks Digital”, “we”, “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you visit likeresume.com, use its resume tools, contact us, or buy a feature. We handle personal information in line with applicable Canadian privacy law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Your resume stays in your browser

The information you type into a resume can include your name, contact details, work experience, education and skills. The Like Resume builder saves your draft in your own browser and processes any file you upload to improve an existing resume in your browser too. We do not receive or store your resume content on our servers. Your draft stays in that browser until you remove it with the builder or by clearing your browser data, so it will not appear on another device.

Information we collect

  • Orders: when you buy a watermark-free PDF, checkout collects your name, email address, billing details and order information.
  • Support messages: your email address, your message and any details you send us.
  • Technical information: our website and hosting provider may receive your IP address, browser type, device information, pages requested, time of access, and error or security logs.

Purchases and payments

Orders are handled by WooCommerce on our website and card payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number. We use order records to deliver your purchase, help with problems, prevent fraud and meet tax and accounting rules. Stripe’s privacy policy explains how Stripe handles payment information.

Cookies and advertising

Necessary cookies and browser storage keep your cart, checkout, saved draft and site preferences working.

If we display Google AdSense ads, third-party vendors, including Google, may place or read cookies and use web beacons, IP addresses or similar identifiers for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. Google and its partners may serve ads based on visits to this site or other sites. You can manage ad personalization at Google My Ad Center and opt out of some other vendors’ personalized advertising at YourAdChoices. Learn how Google uses information from partner sites. How we use information

We use information to run Like Resume, deliver purchases, respond to questions, keep the site secure, understand how the site performs, show advertising where enabled, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we never publish details from your resume.

Service providers

We share information only with providers that help us run the site, such as our web host, WooCommerce, Stripe, our email provider and, where enabled, advertising and analytics partners, and only as needed for their service. Some providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws. We may also disclose information when required by law.

How long we keep information

Order records are kept as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal purposes. Support emails and technical logs are kept only as long as reasonably needed. No online service can promise absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold.

Your privacy choices

You can ask to access, correct or delete personal information we hold by emailing contact@likeresume.com. Some records, such as order and payment records, may need to be kept to meet legal obligations. You can delete your resume draft at any time by clearing it in the builder or clearing your browser data.

Children and young users

Like Resume is not intended for children under 13. Users aged 13 to 17 should use the site with permission from a parent or guardian, and a parent or guardian must make any purchase. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
